Hi, I’m Edu, the heart behind Oh Flora. Flowers have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. What began as a love for bringing fresh blooms into my home grew into a passion for creating floral designs that help people celebrate meaningful moments.

For over ten years, I worked as a professional event planner in the wedding and special events world. In 2018, I began designing wedding florals, and something clicked. Working so closely with brides and their stories made me feel fully present, fully alive. That was the moment I knew I wanted to spend my days with flowers.

In 2026, after moving to Calgary and stepping into a new chapter of my life, I decided to finally pursue a dream I had carried with me for years: building my own floral studio.

Oh Flora is that little ‘oh…’ you breathe out when something is just beautiful. Flora is everything that grows and blooms. Together, they’re flowers made to create a feeling.

My style is garden-inspired, wild, and a little extra. It’s my Latina energy in flower form. Free, expressive, and beautifully untamed. I design with movement, texture, and emotion in mind, always letting the flowers lead the way.

I firmly believe that nature gives us so much. That’s why my first choice is always to work with environmentally conscious mechanics, allowing me to create beautiful designs while respecting the environment that inspires them. I also prioritize supporting local growers and suppliers as much as possible.
